Exploring Miyuki with Debi Burns
March 18 @ 6:45 pm - 8:30 pm

Speaker: Debi Burns
Presentation: We are going to explore the Miyuki website, discover the wealth of information it holds, and learn some tips to use all that knowledge.
* What’s the difference between a Ceylon and a Luster coating?
* Is that colored metallic bead going to lose its color?
* Can I dry clean that jacket with the luminous beadwork?
Knowing the properties of your beads helps to determine if your beadwork will become an heirloom or just a Holiday Hit. If you’re making a Delica bracelet and want to trim the edges with picots, you will learn how to find the number of the matching round bead. If you’re doing a big project and want to see how all 18 beads look in one collection, there’s a way to do that. Come learn some ways to make choices that will enhance your beadwork.
