In-Person 2026 BSNC Members Day De-stash Sale and Bead Challenge Celebration at Albany Community Center
We are excited to announce our 2026 BSNC Members Day De-stash Sale and Bead Challenge Celebration date! This is an incredible opportunity for members to sell items from their bead stash to the general public.
Here are the details you need to know:
Date: August 2, 2026 (Sunday)
Time: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Location: Albany Community Center, California
Only members will have the opportunity to sign up for tables to sell their items. Tables will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to secure your spot early! We are asking for a table donation of $30. Please note we will have a limited number of tables and your reservation is not guaranteed until you have paid. If you are not a member, but would like to participate you can purchase a membership for $25 annually, please sign up here.
If you are interested in reserving a table for the BSNC Members Day De-stash Sale, please reach out to Judy Sinclair at judysinclair@beadsocietyofnorcal.org. You will be sent a request for payment via PayPal within a few days.
This event is an excellent opportunity to declutter your bead stash and connect with fellow members who share your passion for beadwork. Whether you have surplus beads, findings, unused tools, or gently used books and magazines, this event allows you to turn your unneeded treasures into cash and make room for new inspiration. However, we are asking for no finished items.
On this day, we will be celebrating the Member’s Bead Challenge from 2025 and passing out the NEW bead challenge kits! If you live locally, bring your Bead Challenge piece to the event. If you don’t live locally, please send a photo of your finished piece to Judy at the email below.
People who participated in the 2025 Bead Challenge will receive a new kit for FREE. Members who received last year’s kit and didn’t bring or send photos of finished work, will need to pay $15 for the new kit. Members who want to participate and didn’t receive a kit last year will be gifted a free kit this year. Kits will be given away while supplies last!
We encourage you to invite your family, friends, and fellow bead enthusiasts to join us. It’s an ideal occasion to meet like-minded individuals, discover unique supplies, and support our vibrant bead community.
