Floor Kaspers – In Transit, the making of a coat of beads

Presentation Content: From making some ribbon necklaces to creating a full beadwork coat with 800,000 seed beads. How on earth did that happen? In the presentation, Floor will explain it all. Not just the practical side and the steps to creating it, but also what it means to work on such a personal piece of art for such a long time.
You will be taken on a trip around the world, because Floor beads everywhere. From Angkor Wat in Cambodia, to the Glass Art Fashion show in Corning, New York. Hopefully you will find inspiration from this presentation to look at things a little different. Because if you can make a coat out of tiny beads, what else is possible?
