Presentation:
Nicki Russo will be presenting “The Details Matter”, sharing tips and techniques that can help beaders of all levels improve their craft and enjoy their work more. Even those with years of experience may find new tricks that boost their confidence and enthusiasm.
Join Nicki as she reviews with the group what she has learned and implemented in her beading. She will often casually mention a technique during a workshop and discover that several class participants are unaware of it, creating a mini-lesson where everyone learns more than just the project they are creating.
Speaker Bio:
Nicki Russo is a native of southern New Jersey. Raised by crafty, talented parents, she spent her childhood learning all types of handcrafts. In the mid ‘90s, she rediscovered bead stringing and wirework jewelry. Within a few years, bead weaving and bead embroidery began. After several years of traveling across the country to attend workshops and retreats with the masters, she began to create her own designs. Traveling and teaching, she has been able to share her love of beading. She lives in Newport, NJ, with her wee-cup Yorkie, Abbey.
